A Truly Independent Family Business

Our History

Jentex was originally established in 1966 by Anthony and his father Norman Jenkins. After previously working for worldwide major oil companies Anthony realised there was a real need for an independent oil company based on excellent service and sound family values.

Over the years Jentex has supplied fuel throughout the UK and northern Europe. Including cross channel ferries and fast craft, national power stations and international corporations.

In 1980 Anthonys’ daughter Tina joined the company. For twenty years both father and daughter have enjoyed working closely together to meet the challenges (and tribulations) of the ever changing marketplace. Tina more recently has been made Managing Director.

She is thrilled to be looking to the future with this unique family business.
